Yikes Dave, Your scaring me!
I also have a '71 Safari and so far my tank is pretty much ok as far as I
know.
What do you suppose happened to your tank? What do you mean exactly 'way
beyond repair'?
What was involved in removing your old tank? ie. What did you have to
disassemble?
I'd appreciate any replacment info you come up with.
