Simple Green is a major cause of hydrogen embrittlement in aluminum on aircraft.
Crew chiefs find it as a good cleaner for what they want it for, but over look 
the effect that it has on the surface being cleaned. I wouldn't use it on my 1973 
Airstream, or an '04 model.
Penair makes a good cleaner that's citrus. If you can find it Penair HD 1 is good 
and is also available in an aerosol or pump size bottle.
