I would never rely upon this method as it is not going to show the low
profile
sedans which cannot be seen above the bottom of the window. 2. it
creates a
tunnel vision in that it requires too much looking to understand what
you are
seeing, it is a matter of going from the 1:1 aspect ratio of what you
see in
your windshield to a reversed, small view (mirror) thru a smaller front
window
thru a still smaller (distance reduced) back trailer window.

takes your mind and eyes too long to interpret that.

better to get a wired or wireless camera set in the trailer's back
window with a
5" monitor set on the dash. you can quickly look at that and see if
there is
anything within 5 feet of the back of your trailer. makes backing much
easier
also.
you can search archives on the camera/monitor discussions from last
month or so.

the best thing is just to use your side mirror with a bullseye wideview,
and
weave. in fact, I noticed that driving up the perimeter road of the
Olympia NF,
that signs required slow traffic to pull over and allow more than n
vehicles to
pass.
When you are sightseeing but still trying to get up to the Vancouver
ferry and
back to Seatac in the same day, .... you drive fast and realize that you
are
trying to do two or three days in one.<G>
