[VACList] Epoxy

I started using epoxy in the 1960s at that time there was no health warnings
or anything about users becoming sensitize to it.It was and still is wonserful
stuff. At that time we took no masures to protect our selves in fact we
cleaned it off our skin by scrubbing up with acrtone. In the 1980s I was using
several drums of it per year.Still no noticeacle effects from it.I retired in
1990 and since than used a small amount(built a couple of canoes and
several galons in The Silver Abaltross. in the llast couple of weeks I have
made moulds and made several parts for my traler and also been waring
desposable gloves My hands ans arms are itching and sores are showing
upsorta look like cold sores. I have suddenly became senitized to the stuff. I
had always been told to work clean but as many of my generation we mostly
ignored the warning. My answere was it can't be so bad I use it by the drum
and it ain't bothered me none sometimes the results wont show up for
years.
I am not trying to scare anyone but give a warning that you need to work
safely. An occasional user probly will never have any ill effects by ignoring
the safty masures but why tate any chances.?????
