Ok. Refresh my memory on this one.
What year trailer is this fridge in?
In my '73 the electric/gas selector is in the back accessed by opening
exterior panel.
The electric on/off is a toggle switch located just below the gas shutoff
valve. If the gas is turned on the electric toggle switch must be in the
down (off) position. To use electric you must first turn off the gas, you
can't turn on both due to the position of gas shutoff valve and electric
on/off switch. No matter which mode I have the fridge in both cooling knobs
will turn. But yours may have some type interlock which will prevent one or
the other from turning. Check it out. If it works, great. If not then soak
it back down with PB Blaster or Kroil, something. Just be careful picking up
hammers around it.
A fridge is pricey!
