Chas - in regards to my switch question on my Dometic fridge - someone
recommended trying PB Blaster.
I am a real worrier when it comes to gas and flames etc...
Logic/caution suggests that the entire gas system be turned off when
servicing/working on the fridge - but even so - might it be unwise to use
penetrating sprays etc like this around a potential heat/open flame source?

Might there be a lingering flammable material left behind by the penetrating
spray?

Just being very-very careful here - as I have no experience working with gas
appliances.

Also - thanks to Sherry for recommending the RV Mobile site - I signed on as
a member.

I'll keep an eye out for a spare switch knob for you -  in my neck of the
woods.
