[VACList] Confirming operation of the Univolt

Hello to all on the list!

I am seeking guidance on a source for confirming proper operation of the
Univolt in my 1974 ILY.  I own a service manual, however it does not provide
detailed instructions on testing output at the battery, or to the rest of
the trailer.

Secondly, approximately how long should a univolt require to fully charge a
battery?
