I figured it all out...found the little groove in the top of the
opening...thanks everyone...

Now I need to make the locks work somehow so they will hold the bottom
part in.  Does anyone have any ideas how to replace the lock part so
something will stick out and hold the bottom part in when the lock is
turned?  I could just put a latch on the bottom...that wouldn't be too
bad.  No keys or anything came with this trailer....someone has been
using a screwdriver on these locks anyway.
