Depending upon where you are located, there are a number of Vintage
Friendly Airstream dealers around the country who might be more
convenient than the factory.  I have found it to be very beneficial to
have a working relationship with a dealer who isn't too far away in the
event of those little problems that just need immediate attention to
avoid cancellation of a planned activity.  In addition, having a good
working relationship with my dealer has meant that when a problem has
developed far from home there has been a reliable source of repair
information allowing emergency repairs to be handled properly.

There are also a number of specialists around the country who can handle
a number of restoration and refurbishing processes.  I have been very
pleased with the interior restoration/refurbishing on my Overlander that
was performed by Fowler Interiors, and the polish and plasticoat that
was handled by P & S Trailer Service.
