We have a Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3 L and a 3.73 gear. In tow haul mode it holds the shift point to 2500 r.p.m., no matter the speed. Gives nice firm shifts in the tow mode, it acted funny pulling from stoplights without it on, it wanted to upshift too quickly. Overall we're very happy with it.
