[VAC] Re: catalytic heater



     During the "California Winter" I head to southern Baja to avoid any chance of freezes.  I don't usually take my Airstream but now that I've made it lean and mean I just might.
 
     Do the Suburban heaters take care of the pipes in the underbelly?  I don't think you need to worry about an occasional frost when your traveling.  Just leave one sink dripping to keep the water moving.  Freezing pipes are more the problem in severe weather especially when the vehicle is not habitated.
     I really don't like the noise of the forced air heaters.  I don't like the draw they make on electrical systems.  In any event I don't plan any extended trips into colder climes.  I do like it when it's 80F. during the day and 55F. at night.
