[VAC] Re: Coleman furnance

Coleman stopped production of furnaces nearly 20 years ago and does not
support them any longer. Some aftermarket suppliers can get a few parts
for them, but not much. No furnace manufacturer past or present would
recommend using a furnace that old. That's the main reason most service
shops won't work on them.
It is strongly recommended that anyone using a furnace more than about
20 years old have a CO detector in the coach.
The furnace in the Bambi was an old convection style with no blower.
Manufacturers decided a long time ago there were too many problems with
that much heat in one place without a fan to move the air and stopped
making them. Catalytic and ceramic heater's do not generate nearly as
much heat and are safer to operate.
