[VAC] Re: Stamped & Dated LP tanks

I am just now in the process of getting my OPDs...My two aluminum Worthingtons are
at the propane dealer (with their stamp of 6/76, none since)...Got the call this
morning that I needed to be recertified...For an extra $10 per tank.  Feeling a bit
shafted, I questioned it, they insisted.  I googled the web, sent a query to
WorthingtonCylinders.com and got the following response..."The cylinders should
have been recertified after the first 12 years and then either visually every 5
years after that or hydrostatically every 10 years."
