The solar guys have a battery cap which condenses the gas and puts it back in as
water which replaces that which evaporates when charging .I think they came at a
price as I recall , I ended up getting gel cells so that I wont have to worry
about adding water as the solar panels are charging all the time . I guess the
gels dont last as long but they sure are less hassle to maintain than a wet acid
battery
