personally, i favor the notion of towing a vintage trailer with a puller of
similar vintage...

load-levelers are more than a 'good idea', as is a good trailer-brake
controller...

a full-size sedan of similar age absolutely enhances the aesthetic appeal of
both car and trailer...

just my two-cents (in 1949 dollars)
