In the middle of Iowa 8.8" Ford gears cost me $480 installed about 18
months ago. The speedometer gear was about $20 from Steeda once they
delivered. If I could have used a Ford speedometer gear it would have
been cheaper except the Ford speedometer gear book required changing the
driving and the driven gear which would have required removing the back
of the transmission.
