After evaluating all the options presented by the local sources, I'm 
about to commit to rebuilding the backing plates on the existing 
hydraulic brakes on the old HADCO axle on the '57 Flying Cloud.  It will 
involve a bunch of machining to adapt Dexter electric brake parts over 
to old plate.

Before throwing more money on the project, has anyone else on the List 
converted a pre 1961 hydraulic brake HADCO axle to electric with success 
by any other means?
