[VAC] axle replacement

Hi All,

I have a 53 Flying Cloud and am getting ready to replace the entire axle 
and springs. I have the new axle, a Dexter 6000# heavy duty, custom made 
for the A/S. The company that was to do the replacement has opted out. I am 
trying to convince myself  I can do the job. I would like to know if anyone 
on the list has done and give me advice.

I have to get new springs made. Does anyone have any experience with 
getting new springs made?
