[VAC] Re: Screen Door plastic piece

My Caravel has a hinged door in the screen. Its held closed by a cabinet
magnetic latch. It swings open freely when hit by the outside door
handle. It has a simple loop drawer handle on the outside the help pull
it closed. Works fine.

I was in a new SOB 5th wheel last weekend with the sliding plastic.
Knocked it out of the tracks about the second time I went through the
door. And that screen had a latch that required opening the slider and
pushing the catch to open. Around me it would have been modified
rapidly.

My dad didn't like the solid aluminum panel in his Scotty's and Prowler,
it seemed to always be just eye level to visitors so they were harder to
identify. He replaced the aluminum with clear plexiglass (or plastic
window glazing) to make for better visibility.
