I got tired of having to remove the sliding plastic piece in my trailer 
(when I forgot to slide it back before closing the outside door).  So, at 
the International last year, I went to the flea market and bought a hinged 
plexiglass piece made for that purpose by an Airstreamer.  It works pretty 
well, and if you forget to fold it back, the outside door handle just 
pushes it open.
