I have a 64 Safari that the door opened while traveling. Needless to say, it broke! I took it off, and took it to a shop that does aluminum welding. They fixed it right up, and for the last ten years, not a problem at all. do NOT put J-B weld on it. It WILL crack. Contrary to what Paul Harvey says! Melvin
