I have to agree with you on all of what you've said - i replaced the LP/AC
fridge in my '72 Overlander with a $200 apartment fridge - if i didn't
already have the propane genset, i might do the same thing...
I like to cook with gas, though, but there's no problem with just using a
small tank and a portable single or double burner camp stove...
