[VAC] Re: Jill's find & solar cost

I am changing my Tradewind total electric I am tired working with gas
appliances that are not dependable the last straw was the fridge. Secondaly I
am not happy with the dangers of gas in a closed space. gas can kill. My
solution is a 3000 watt honda generator mounted on the A frame it weighs very
little more than the gas bottles (aboute 140 lb) Much less than a bunch of
battries and costs less than abunch of solar pannels.the Honda is very
reliable very quite and very compac. think iam smart enough to figure how to
add a 5 gal tank to it and inclose the whole mess so it will look like it
belongs there. We try to stay mostly where there is at least an electric
hookup the generator can be running happily while we are traveling. and if we
have to stop in a roadsede rest for the night we can have air condition hot
water and all the comforts of home.I realise that not eavery thing can be ran
at once but that is not an insurmatable provlem.
