Scott,
You can get almost any socket to fit any bulb from several 12 volt auto
electrical suppliers and replace the kludge you have working now when
the bulb finally burns out. This way you can carry spare bulbs and
replace them while on the road with less hassle.  You have helped me
decide how to solve my dim bargman light problem.  Thanks,
