We just looked at a '61 trailer that had the front front window replaced
(Someone had stuck an Air Conditioner in it at one time).

What they had done was have a welding shop (Yellow Pages) make a new one
from stock aluminum extrusions using an existing window as an example.
It was made from a piece of U stock for the opener shoe to ride in, a
piece of flat stock on the outside, and a piece of angle for the pane
lip. There was piece of C channel at the top to hook into the frame
rail. They hadn't reinstalled openers, but they are available from
www.blainehardware.com

The glass pane went back in pretty much like it would have on an older
window.
