The diode isolator will not be beneficial it ifs not inside the control
loop of the alternator. The voltage to the voltage regulator should come
from the battery side of the isolator diode else the output voltage of
the alternator will be reduced by the diode and stop charging the
battery way below what should be full charge. Using the diodes in the
trailer will keep those batteries from ever being fully charged which
will cause them to be damaged and will reduce their load capacity. Just
hook those trailer batteries in parallel, like all their loads and use
them. Forget the diodes there.
