Maybe.    I'd have to buy the part that goes on the trailer, however..
Maybe it's better not to mix old and new parts, however. That might cause
accelerated wear.

I don't know. It feels that way with another vehicle I used. It's really not
very bad,  but it's just that the '63 feels much lighter even though the
weight difference isn't all that great (3380 as opposed to 4060 for the
'71).

They just inspected (annual PA inspection) it yesterday and said everything
was tight.  Really, the trailer tows quite well, especially when compared to
the trailers my Dad used to tow. I grew up with trailers that swayed so
badly that we'd get stopped and asked to not drive on the NYS Thruway. He
used a class one hitch and no sway control. My '71 GT tows like a dream
compared to that!  The '63 just feels a little better ...like perfection!
I'm wondering if the sway controller for the '71 will be worth the expense.
Looking at other postings, I'm getting encouraged to give it a try.
