Our 1972 27' (I measured too!) has a S/N of I 27 T 2 S 1427.  Also has 
the International and Ambassador nameplates.  Made in CA, also has 
dealer nameplate of Stoll, Inc. in FL, with an owner's name (I think), 
"Wisemore,"  engraved on the blue stripe above the S/N.
