While more water is nice, be careful in expanding tanks in the front of the
trailer not to upset the balance and put too much weight on the hitch.
Approximating the original capacities and weights would probably be a good
idea in all your restoration.  It is real easy to add weight in a remodel.
Just look at how the AS has gotten heavier over the years. - Martin '60
