Help;

Two questions.

1)
I am trying to hock up my tradewind to the power source from the house. 

I pulled out the cord from the back and it has three very large prong, that 
will not fit into anything in our house. What do I need to do to charge up 
the battery without the car? I assume I need an adopter and what else?

2) 

I also pulled out a hose from the rear, what is that for, and what about the 
opening in the front, that looks like its for water?
