[VAC] in search of...an airstream

I'm beginning my search for that perfect vintage airstream.  My initial
thought was to look for something 18-23', single axle, as there are just 2 of
us and I'd like to minimize the size.  But I'd appreciate any comments
regarding size/# axle issues and stability.  Hypothetically, which is easier
to tow, a 24' 2-axle or 23' single?  

Also, any tips for my first airstream viewing this weekend?  Thanks in advance
