RE: [VAC] in search of...an airstream

I picked 22 foot, 1960 era, as the smallest that can have a permanent double
bed (though I converted twins to get it), and about the largest with a
single axle for lower weight.  Also the earlier ones were much lighter than
the current designs with appliances, heavy cabinets, etc.  We pull with a
Jeep V8, but still appreciate the lighter design.  Hope that helps.
