Jim - you may not be getting correct voltage to the compressor motor
causing it to run hot and trip out - this happened to me on a brand new
unit because i was using a too small diameter extension cord to test
the unit - use a volt meter to determine if your getting enough juice
to the trailer and to the ac unit              Ray P
