Vanessa - Pat Ewing is right - get a truck big enough to "handle" the
trailer - i pull a 22' 1955 Safari with a short bed 1950 Studebaker -
even though it has a 350 c.i. chevy engine i consider it "marginal"
when it comes to mountain grades and especially when having to suddenly
stop  the rig - do not get a tow vehicle so underpowered/underweight
that pulling with it makes you a nervous wreck - i get around 9 - 10
mpg with the Studebaker pulling the 3500# Safari - i don't think that a
3/4 or 1 ton p/u with a big block motor would do much worse than that -
