Re: [VAC] Traveler repairs

Bill,
I don't have the ability to get my photos online just now but will
send some as soon as I can. The Traveler layout is full bed across the
back, butting against sink, stove unit curbside. Closet against bed
followed by fridge (Marvel) streetside then banquette L shaped
streetside with a table that scissors down to make that a bed. A small
drawer unit joins the banquette to the curbside front toilet closet.
Toilet has a small holding tank that fits snugly to the curve of that
corner. No shower, cold water single sink. There is a battery hookup by
the fresh water tank so there is either and inverter/charger or a water
pump (don't laugh, I haven't looked closely yet. There is a 12 volt
light alongside the 2 AC bulbs in the ceiling fixture. The Marvel
fridge works and only on 110. There is a female plug with two slightly
curved slots exterior front toward curbside that seems to be connected
to the 12 volt system and may have been a hookup from the car generator
to keep it charged that was separate from the towing harness for lights
and brakes, but I'm not sure if that's its function yet.
The serial is 4019 and remember this is the unit sold to me as a
Bubble, which Wayne realized (when looking at Anthony's unit at DC Rally
after we measured it) made mine too long to be a Bubble and which you
helped us figure out to be a Traveler. I am very happy with the layout.
Very efficient use of space. I expect to use it for all kinds of work
and pleasure trips. Should be a dream to tow being only a couple inches
over 18 feet. Cozy and comfortable like yours.
Later,
Tom
