If it is the swivel lights, or reading lamps, I have
found reducing the bulb wattage really helps. The
bigger the bulb you use, the hotter it gets. 12 volt
bulbs, naturally run hot. try experimenting with some
bulbs from your automotive center, they will have
"one" contact on the bottom, not two. A back up light
bulb will be the hottest and brightest.
