RE: [VAC] What the hull should I do?

This is a follow up to my original post. There seem to be two schools of
thought on how to polish an Airstream. One is the brute force method.
Drive to OK or some other place and leave the rest to the professional or
you will not get the pristine stock finish.

The second is to do it yourself in a less complete manner. Clean off the
grime and hand polish the heavy dull oxidation. Leave some of the smoother
oxidized areas alone as a badge of experience. I have chosen to pursue this
home improvement course.

The best product I have yet tried is NevrDull wadding. If one is willing to
rub until your arms are spent, the wadding will polish even the worst
oxidation and grime and leave a mirror like lustre. PROBLEM

Using wadding is so slow and labor intense that I am now considering
marrying wadding with some kind of orbiting sander to speed up my job.
Does anyone have experience with NevrDull? Is there any adverse effects of
using it? Anyone know how to marry the sander and wadding?
