If those closers are the tube-twist type that were on the Bambis, they just
are held in by spring tension on brackets from the side, as I remember.  I
had the hatch off to re-fiberglass it and it was not a problem as I recall -
or maybe the hatch brackets were the ones that came off.  Experiment
carefully.
