I remember a very old posting where an experienced hand at this
recommended filling the black tank with ice (from bagged ice, I presume)
just before taking off on the road and they said the action of the
vibration and motion pretty well cleaned out the tank.  They then added
water at a dump site and flushed out all the old waste that was now
scoured free.  Worth a try.
