Thanks for the idea of putting the a/c under the seat, 
behind the drawer.  I agree that the window unit approach 
in an actual window is not attractive -- that's why I'm 
glad I found this source of information. I knew the ideas 
were out there, and that someone would come up with a 
workable, attractive solution.
