To straighten the trailer you have to turn the truck sharper than it was
in the turn. If you had to turn the truck as sharp as it would go to
follow the trailer around the corner, you can't straighten it out
without pulling forward. You never want to get in the condition that the
truck is turning as sharp as it can to follow the trailer because that
tends to lead to a jack knife.

If you really have to hit a tight spot, add a front hitch to the truck.
You can spot a trailer on a dime, even a four wheeled hay rack with its
own steering. And it makes it look easy on the first try.
