It works well.  Put them at the bottom.  The palms depend upon your weight
and the clearance needed.  :)   If you want the back of the unit to go left,
then move your hand to the left.  In essence, move your hand (at the bottom
of the steering wheel) the direction that you want the back of the unit to
move.  Works very well.
