Sounds a little fishy - there are a bazillion Magic Chef RV ranges out
there, and all sorts of repair parts available for them.  I would check
around before replacing the range. There are RV places that specialize
in appliance repair. The same safety valves were used over many model
year periods.  A quick check of the phone book may help, also check out:
