I deal in Trolling motors that use Deep Cycle batteries exclusivly, The recomended
re-charge rate does not exceed 15 amps. so quick charge devices above that are not
recommeded. I have a fishing buddy that rechages his trolling motor battery directly
from his truck when he goes to town for supplies. The way he does it is with jumper
cables and he's been doing it for years. There is the right way and the practicle
way. Solar cells are probably not recommended for the North West or Ohio as it rains
