Hello all,
I have a question regarding replacement of a Univolt. I
have a 1974 27' Land Yaght which is in excellent condition inside and out.
However, the Univolt is missing. It must have broken years ago and was
removed and never replaced. I am wondering if I need to get a replacement
Univolt or if any RV transformer of suitable amperage would be ok. Also,
what about fuses/circuit breakers? These must have been connected to the
Univolt because they are nowhere to be found. It looks like the unit was
just removed from under the rear bath tub and the wires just left dangling
where they were. The 110 AC works fine but no 12 volt for ceiling lights, radio,
etc.
I plan to begin towing this trailer next summer and 12 volts
would be a necessity. Right now it is just parked in a lot at a lake and
is never towed so 110 only is ok.
