        Eddie, Thanks I'll try all variations tomorrow, haven't had time to
mess around with it today. It's a Dometic DM2862 2/way with direct spark. It
slid right in the opening of the old fridge but not much room behind like the
old fridge. Barely had room for the battery.

Try first connect ac, lp, then connect battery. System confused. Should be a
reset. If not, just keep trying variations such as shut off gas, unplug ac,
connect battery first. Is this Norcold or Dometic? Also check online your
manual/instructions may have update or a trouble shooting section. Say what
model number and brand. I will also check.
