You should be fine with the 700 15s. They seem to be the best out there:)
for that unit, which I've had...assuming it's all original otherwise.

There was a few years in the mid 1950's where the 14.5" diameter wheel
was used. Rob Baker has them on SOTR. He or Colin Hyde would be the
ones to ask about the details on the wheels.
