I have another thought, which is that you may need to replace the 
breakers in your trailer. 

But do attend to the words of the Edster, he knows his stuff. 

I would also recommend you do everything to keep your old Armstrong 
going, it is a much better built unit than a replacement would be.  I 
think any RV repair place, or indeed a good HVAC guy would be able to 
look at it for you.  No need to go to an Airstream dealer, who may not 
have a technician that knows how. Don't ask me how I know this.
