Judy,

I'm thinking that there is no such thing as a standard Airstream gaucho.
My '60 has a two piece design where you pull out the slides and place the 
sofa back on the slides you just pulled out.

I see that a '62 has the main part of the bed surface pull out with the 
slides and the sofa back fits against the wall.

Your three piece '72 gaucho is yet another variation. I wonder how many 
other designs are out there?
