The Sunday before this Thanksgiving, my wife and I are flying to New
York City to spend two weeks in New England. Our oldest daughter works
at Purchase College in Purchase, NY and we intend to visit with her and
tour the area. Our only firm plans, so far, are to attend the Macy's
Thanksgiving Day Parade and be in Boston the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
We are looking for information on things to see, places to eat and
places to stay. We have seen some places to eat on the various Food
Network shows, but we are open to any. Rich Luhr, of Airstream Life
magazine, recently mentioned, on his blog, a place to stay in near
Cooperstown, NY and we will consider that. One caveat is that any
hotel, motel, B&B or restaurant needs to be wheelchair accessible.
Suggestions for factory tours and museums are also welcome.
We are planning on seeing all of the New England states, so fire away.
